Rising K and New FAMILY PLAYDATE

Starting school can be a scary thing for our youngsters! To help Kindergartners make new friends and get used to Taylor, the PTA plans playdates and a welcome picnic over the summer. The parents also get to make connections at the playdates and picnic, as well as at parent-specific events following the Taylor Open House, before school starts, or after Back to School night early in the fall. The chair for these events is also a great resource for any information you need as you navigate sign-ups and start-of-school details!

Hi Taylor Parents!

I'm Allyson Burns, a Taylor parent overseeing the Rising K playdates this summer. I have 3 kids already at Taylor (currently in 1st, 4th and 5th) and my youngest daughter Peyton is looking forward to becoming a Taylor Tiger as well this Fall. My Taylor roots run pretty deep having gone to Taylor myself - and my mother and sister both taught at Taylor :) Below are the details on the playdates and the link to pass along to anyone else that wants to join these emails. If you have not personally added your child to the Google Spreadsheet, please do that as well since that is who I will send the on-going communications (weather changes, reminders, etc.). These playdates are a great way for you/your child to meet a few familiar faces before the first day of school. 

Location: Kindergarten playground (front of school, to left of the main entrance) 

Dates/Times: Sunday, June 28 (9-10:30am), Saturday, July 18 (3-4:30pm), and Sunday, August 16th (3-4:30pm)
