Community Service
Each year, the PTA Community Service Committee organizes and runs the Arlington County Foster Care Holiday Giving Program. This program allows Taylor families to donate gifts and gift cards that are distributed to children in Arlington County's Foster Care Program at an annual holiday party held in early December. Some years families are also asked to donate drinks and/or cookies.
During the second week of November, families sign up on a Sign Up Genius to donate a gift or gift card. During the third week of November, students bring the gift or gift card to school, putting gifts in the labeled box outside the office and leaving gift cards with office staff.
