Bike & Roll to School Day- May 7th

Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 is Bike and Roll to School Day! Taylor Tigers will be meeting at different locations so they can walk, bike and roll to school! The following neighborhoods have locations and leads: Maywood, Dover-Crystal, Woodmont, Donaldson Run/Lee Heights, and Donaldson Run Nature Trail. Save the Date- End of Year Parent Social June 4th, 8:30pm at Buena Vida Rooftop - Clarendon

Join us June 4th immediately after the PTA meeting at Buena Vida to toast to the end of another school year!

The PTA is getting us started with some snacks in the rooftop lounge area, and the margaritas are delicious! Can't wait to see you there!

Bring in your Plastic FILM!

Since September, Taylor has partnered with NexTrex for the Plastic Recycling Challenge. We are collecting plastic film in specialty boxes in the lobby across the school year with the goal of collecting and recycling 1000 pounds of plastic. If we achieve our goal, we will be getting a new bench for one of the playgrounds!

What counts as plastic film?
Grocery bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, plastic shipping envelopes, ziploc and other re-closable food storage bags, cereal bags, drink case over wrap, pallet wrap and stretch film, and product bags. Most importantly all plastic must be clean, dry and free of all food residue.

Plastic Film Drop off is available in the lobby during school and extended day hours. Please drop off those plastics so we can hit our goal!
