Extended Day
The Taylor PTA coordinates with the Extended Day staff to provide necessary resources for the staff and students:
We work with staff to provide a list or selection of books that could be purchased during the Scholastic book fair.
We work with the staff to identify and provide extra supplies. In the past this has been bean bag chairs, books, rugs.
We buy the pizza and ice cream for the end of year party and talent show.
We coordinate gifts for the staff during the holidays and end of year. This is usually putting together announcements for the newsletter, collecting funds and distributing the gifts.
We sell tickets during extended day for the spring fair so parents have the opportunity to purchase tickets at a discount who can not make it right after school.
