Thanks to all of our dedicated and dependable instructors, coordinators, parent volunteers, Taylor staff and kids for a very successful Fall 2008 session. The new Winter Catalog will come home in your child’s folder Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 or Monday, Dec. 22. But you can get a head-start on the process by checking out the classes and printing your own registration right NOW! – Remember – it’s first-come, first-serve for class registration! Classes returning this session are: SCRATCH (taught by Taylor Parent Chris Vargas), Chess, Etiquette, Drama and Art with Wendy. New additions include: Jazz for Kids (One of the musicians is “Art with Wendy” Kramer’s son – very popular at other Arlington Schools last year) Global Arts Odyssey (A creative and captivating way to learn about different place and cultures (a staple class of several top-tier private schools in DC and MD) Cartooning (Taught by the current Chess Instructor from Enrichment Centers) Sports Yoga and Yoga for Kids (Provided by Yoga Tales – instructors specifically trained to teach yoga to kids – also offered at Ashlawn, Nottingham, McKinley, Sidwell Friends and others) Organization for Kids (Taylor parent Heather Cocozza has offered to share her expertise and help get your young students organized) Not on the Winter Schedule, but returning in the Spring: Skate Lab with American Inline Skating If you have questions, please contact Lori Klein at 703-741-0116 or lori_klein@fanniemae.com . |
